The rail laying of the right line of the Modaomen section of the Jinhai Super Bridge is completed

On November 14, as the last group of 400-meter-long steel rails fell steadily into the rail-bearing groove, the Zhuji Intercity Phase II Jinhai Extra Large was invested in and constructed by Guangdong Guangzhou Intercity Rail Transit Co., Ltd. and undertaken by China Railway Bridge Bureau. The laying of the steel rail on the right line of the bridge sharpening door section was successfully completed.
Jinhai Bridge is the first road-rail dual-use bridge built over the Pearl River Delta estuary. The main bridge is a cantilevered steel box girder multi-tower (4 towers) road-rail same-story cable-stayed bridge, with a width of 49.6 meters and traffic in the middle. The two-line intercity railway with a speed of 160 kilometers per hour, and the six-lane expressway with a speed of 100 kilometers per hour on the left and right sides of the same floor. After the Jinhai Bridge is completed, it will become the world’s first multi-tower cable-stayed bridge on the same floor for highway and railway, and the widest cable-stayed bridge for both highway and railway in the world.
After the completion of the project, it will be of great significance for Zhuhai to promote smooth internal and external transportation, build an important node city in the “Belt and Road”, and integrate into the national strategy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
