How to maintain the track pressure plate

The combination of trains and railways is a very important means of transportation for us, so the knowledge about their related products also requires us to have a certain understanding, so do you have a certain understanding of the knowledge about the related facilities in the track? Today we will introduce some to you.

In order to prolong the service life of our rail track pressure plate, we need to take good care of it to make it “certain, certain”. In the process of using the welding platen, it is inevitable that some bumps will be encountered. Here, I will share with you some tips for maintaining and maintaining the welding platen, so that your welding platen will last longer.

1. After removing the welding pressure plate, use a steel brush to brush off the rust, and then use dilute hydrochloric acid (concentration of 15% to 20%) to remove the rust spots, so that the welding pressure plate shows the metallic color.

2. Use a 422 electrode of φ5mm for surfacing on the corrosion zone. Because single-sided surfacing will cause the welding plate to bend, it is advisable to use double-sided surfacing so that the surfacing stresses can offset each other.

3. Plane both sides of the surfacing welded pressure plate on the planer, and the planing amount is 0.5mm.

4. If the welding seam of the plug is cracked due to planning, it is necessary to dig and repair it. That is, after the double-sided planing, each welding platen is subjected to a steam pressure test one by one, and if any water droplets are found, make a mark. After the test steam is turned off, use an angle grinder to grind along the groove or around the groove at the welding seam emerging from the water polo, surfacing again, and then smooth it with a grinder.

Reasonable maintenance of railway-related facilities and equipment can better help our future development and use, so we hope that the above introduction can be of some help to everyone in the process of track maintenance in the future. We bring more convenience.
