Introduction to rail grout

rail grout

Rail grout features

1. Early strength and high strength: 1 day’s strength can reach more than 30MPa.
2. Large flow state: It can fill all the voids and meet the requirements of secondary grouting.
3. No shrinkage: ensure the close integration between the equipment and the foundation.
4. Low-temperature construction: outdoor construction is allowed under -10℃ temperature.
6. Strong durability: This product is an inorganic cementing material, and its service life is longer than that of basic concrete.

Rail grout application

1. It is used for grouting and fixing column foundations, pile foundations, rock foundations, and sleeper bolts in railways, highways, bridges, tunnels, and other projects.
2. It is used for grouting of crane rails grooves of port and wharf cranes, grouting of rail clips, bolt fixing, and installation grouting of various mechanical equipment.

Rail grout construction instructions

Step 1: Basic Treatment and Formwork

1. Chisel the surface of the concrete foundation or use the reinforcement interface agent J-302 concrete re-casting agent for interface treatment. The components (such as steel backing plates) bonded with the track glue will remove the rust and oil stains.
2. Moisten the surface of the concrete foundation 24 hours before pouring the slurry for the first time, and there should be no stagnant water during pouring.
3. The baffles should be tightly supported to prevent slurry leakage, and the joints between the templates can be blocked with a 901 quick-plugging agents.

Step 2: Grouting Construction

1. Add water in the proportion of 13~15% of the weight of the track cement and stir evenly.
2. When grouting, inject from one side as much as possible to facilitate the discharge of the air between the bottom plate and the concrete foundation. When necessary, tools such as bamboo chips can be used for diversion. After the start of watering, it must be carried out continuously without interruption.

Step 3: Maintenance

1. Cover the watered track cement with a wet straw bag or cloth, and sprinkle water for maintenance, 2-6 times a day.
2. The curing temperature should be above 15℃, and the curing period is 7 days. If the site temperature is low, the curing period can be appropriately extended.
3. In winter construction, thermal insulation measures should be taken.

Step 4: Demolition

The mold removal should be carried out 24 hours after the completion of pouring, and the maintenance should be continued after mold removal.

Packaging, storage, and transportation

The standard packaging specification is 25kg±0.5kg/bag. It should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment, waterproof and moisture-proof. The shelf life in the unopened state is 6 months, and it can be transported as general cargo.
