Wear is one of the common pulley failures, under normal circumstances, when the wall thickness wear of the wheel groove reaches 1/10 of the original wall thickness, the radial wear reaches 1/5 of the rope diameter, it is necessary to replace the new pulley. When the pulley material is not uniform, the installation is not required, and the rope and wheel contact is poor, the rope groove of the pulley may have uneven wear, then the wear amount is calculated according to the serious part, as long as the above requirements are met, the new pulley should be replaced in time.

Pulley spindle is also prone to damage, found damaged, to replace the new spindle. As a rotating part or rotating part, wear is inevitable, the wear of the spindle reaches 3% to 5% of the nominal diameter, the spindle should be scrapped and replaced with a new one.

In the process of using the bridge crane, there are also situations where the pulley can not rotate, which will lead to the wear and tear of the pulley mandrel and the steel wire rope, and the bearing of the pulley should be checked in time to see if it is damaged and strengthen lubrication.

If it is found that the pulley of the bridge crane is tilted, it is mostly because the positioning part on the pulley shaft is loose or the wire rope is job-hopping. At this time, it is necessary to reinstall the fixed positioning parts or add the function of the steel wire rope anti-stripping groove.

When the pulley cracks or the rim breaks, it is directly determined that the pulley has been damaged and replaced with a new pulley.

Overhead crane pulley block use requirements

(1) The wire rope through the pulley or pulley block must meet the requirements of the pulley. When the diameter of the wire rope used exceeds the requirements of the pulley, it will aggravate the wear of the pulley, and also aggravate the wear of the wire rope.

(2) When winding the pulley set, the Angle of the wire rope in the chute shall not exceed 4°~6°.

(3) If the multi-door pulley is used only a few of the doors, its lifting weight should be reduced accordingly.

(4) After the pulley rope is worn, it is necessary to slowly increase the force, and after the rope is tightened, it is necessary to check whether the parts are good, and check in detail whether the parts are stuck.

(5) After the pulley is pulled tight, the two wheels of the pulley block should maintain a certain distance.

(6) The pulley shall not be overloaded.

(7) Before the pulley is used, the allowable load of the mark should be identified, and there should be no cracks and damage to the pulley groove, axle, splint, hook, etc., and the pulley rotation is flexible.

(8) The dirt on the pulley should be washed before and after use, and the axle should be lubricated and placed in a dry place to prevent wear and rust.
