Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. is one of the important backbone enterprises producing steel rails, profiles, bulb flat steel, and square and round steel in China. Enterprises can organize production and supply according to the national industry standard TB/T2344-2012 standard, TB/T3276-2011 high-speed rail standard, European EN standard, Japanese JIS, and other standards, and the physical quality of the products has reached the international advanced level.

The main products of the large factory are high-speed rail series, high-strength rail series, ordinary rail series, crane rail series, AT rail series, conductive rail series, urban tram rail series, H-beam series, large I-beam series, large channel steel series, There are 13 categories, 57 varieties, 130 specifications, and nearly 30 steel types, including large angle steel series, bulb flat steel series, and other engineering steel series.

The development history of Ansteel Steel rail track:

1. Anshan Iron and Steel Large Rolling Plant is the first modern rail and beam rolling plant in New China. The project was officially started on August 1, 1952, with a design capacity of 500,000 tons of rolled steel rails and various large-scale products per year, and was completed on November 30, 1953.

2. On December 8, 1953, the first self-manufactured 43kg/m heavy-duty steel rail in New China was successfully trial-rolled. Since then, the heavy-duty rail trains fully loaded with Anshan Iron and Steel have been continuously driven to all parts of the country.

3. In December 1966, Anshan Iron and Steel successfully trial-produced my country’s first 25-meter fixed-length rail.

4. In 2001, Anshan Iron and Steel’s “π” section steel was used in the first domestic maglev train.

5. On April 1, 2002, the second-phase reconstruction project of Anshan Iron and Steel’s large-scale plant was started, and Asia’s largest walking heating furnace, 1150 blanking machines,s and comprehensive water treatment systems were built. On December 9, 2002, China’s first universal rail rolling production line was successfully tested at the large-scale plant of Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., marking that the technical equipment of the large-scale plant has been improved from the level of the 1950s and 1960s to the international advanced level, with a capacity of 800,000 tons. With the annual production capacity, the large-scale factory has become an enterprise that can produce 50-meter fixed-length rails. Its product quality can meet the quality requirements of high-speed rails, and it can produce heavy rails with high speed, high performance, and high precision.

6. In September 2002, the 60kg/mPD3 rails produced by Ansteel for the passenger-dedicated line with a speed of 200 kilometers per hour passed the expert review organized by the Ministry of Railways.

7. In September 2003, Ansteel first completed the technical transformation of the production of 50m-long fixed-length rails in China and trial-produced the first batch of 50m-long fixed-length rails in China.

8. In October 2003, Anshan Iron and Steel produced a set of 50m long and 60kg/m steel rails for passenger dedicated lines with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour in accordance with relevant technical conditions, and successfully laid them on the long railway line.

9. After the 100m steel rail production line of Anshan Iron and Steel Group was put into operation in April 2007, the U71Mn(k) 60kg/m steel rail and U75V60kg/m steel rail were developed in accordance with the relevant technical requirements for the 100m fixed-length 350km/h passenger dedicated line.

10. On July 28, 2010, Ansteel and Pansteel reorganized. After the reorganization, Ansteel Group Corporation was newly established as the parent company, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission on behalf of the State Council fulfilled the responsibilities of investors; Ansteel and Pansteel were both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Ansteel Group Corporation. company.

11. In November 2010, Ansteel exported 10,000 tons of Australian standard 60kg heavy rail with a fixed length of 25 meters to Australia. This is the first time that Ansteel has exported heavy rails to developed countries in large quantities. In April 2009, Ansteel defeated many international competitors with the most cost-effective products, and successfully won the bid for the heavy rail supply project of the 83-kilometer railway from Morawa to Carrara Mining Company in Australia.

12. In May 2020, Ansteel, with its excellent product quality and high-quality service, won the exclusive bid for the Guinea-Santa-Saint railway project under the bidding of many steel companies. Dasheng Railway is a railway built with Chinese standards, Chinese technology, and Chinese equipment.
