What are rail plates?
Rail plates are also called tie plates. It is the connecting part between the track and the sleeper. Rail plates have a long history of development. Rail plates or similar components exist in everything from wooden sleepers to concrete sleepers, as well as in crane rail systems. It can buffer the vibration impact and wear of the rail on the sleepers and prolong the service life of the rail fixing system. The manufacturing process uses steel plate processing, casting, forging, etc.
In the track system of sleepers, there are many types of rail plates, it as single shoulder types, double shoulder types, hook twin tie plates, and so on. If the track is laid with wooden sleepers, square holes are reserved on the rail tie plates, and the track can be fixed on the sleepers by wedging the spikes. If it is a cement sleeper, the iron backing plate is reserved for the parts used to fix the spring bars.
